Breastfeeding Is The Best For Your Baby
->
Breastfeeding would be a tough experience for new moms. I myself found it was very difficult and painful at the early months my son was born. But once I have been used to it I felt that it was a precious
moment. It is a good chance to promote the bond between kids and moms. Some moms especially working moms gave up after founding difficulties during breastfeeding. Yes it is difficult and tiresome, but do you know that breastfeeding is the best way to feed your kids during their first 2 years and breastfeeding also gives benefit to moms themselves.
Here are benefits of breastfeeding which most of them I myself have experienced:
For babies:
- Breastmilk is sweet tasting.
- Promotes the bond between baby and mother. During breastfeeding, a hormone is produced from the mother’s body which helps the mother to relax and bond with their babies.
- Breastfeed babies are at lower risk to get allergies, asthma, and diabetes.
- Breastfeed babies are at lower risk of SIDS(Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). Using formula milk is one of factors to SIDS.
- Increase baby’s IQ, average 7 points.
- Breastmilk helps babies to avoid meconium, a substance in newborn’s intestines.
- Breastmilk is nutritious. Breastfeed babies are able to get all the nutritional requirements that babies need. Breastmilk contains right amount of needed protein, lactose, fat, vitamins and minerals.
- Breastmilk is easily digestible for breastfeeding babies with the result that they have lower risk of constipation or diarrhea.
- Strengthen the immune system. Breastmilk contains antibodies which strengthen the immune system thus breastfeeding babies hardly get infected by infectious disease.
- Lower risk of being obese.
- Introduces the infant to various food flavors. By giving formula milk the taste will remain the same but by breastfeeding the taste is changing depends on what moms eat.
For mothers:
- Reduce risk to get breast, ovarian , uterine, and endometrial cancer.
- Helps to heal uterus after childbirth. This is because breastfeeding causes mothers’ body to release a hormone that helps our uterus to contract to bring it back to original body shape.
- Helps mothers to reduce fat. I myself have experienced it and it is proven effective! Research showed that it takes about 500 calories per day for the body to produce breastmilk.
- Ready to be fed at anytime, anywhere. No need to rush to prepare and warm the milk, and no need to sterilize the bottles
- And the best of all is breastmilk is free, thus save our money!
